apparently, as sited in the contract itself, if cingular changes the price for any of the services that you allready subscribe to (like they will be doing jan, 21st) you can opt out of your contract without having to pay the contract cancelation charge of $180! you have 30 days to contact cingular to tell them that you want to end your contract, and not have to pay that crazy fee.
personally, its tempting, but unfortuantely theres really no devices i would purchase from cingular at the current time.
hope this helps at least some folks from an otherwise (allready) costly upgrade.
