First of all you will need a screen capture software installed on your device: Jack listed Ilium Software Screen Capture today (or yesterday). I haven't used it, I use resco, but it appears to have a delay!

To grab the screen shot:
  1. Activate the screen capture software
  2. Set a short delay and navigate to the view you want to capture (open novii)
  3. The screen capture will happen and a pop-up should inform you that it has been saved (normally in My Documents/Captures) and the file name
To Upload the screenshot to the site:
  1. Usinig AS File Explorer, locate the screenshot on your device
  2. Copy the screenshot to a folder on your pc
  3. Open a thread (this one would be good :) ) and post a message (don't use quick reply, use one of the advanced reply methods)
  4. Scroll down until you find the Manage Attachments button and click
  5. Use the Upload from my pc option and navigate to your screenshot
  6. Upload the jpg file and close the window
Then hit the Submit Reply button. I look forward to seeing the results. :D

The screenshot is uploaded as a thumbnail and (when clicked) opens in a new window (at least it does on Maxthon). To make sure the instructions worked, I have uploaded my Today screen from today!

Alternatively.. register for a free account at an online image host, (I use photobucket...

upload your image, and they will generate the code for you to copy into the forum. so you can post something like this

Don't believe you

You can of course send your attachment to another site and link back to it.

This image is linked to the attachment I uploaded earlier.

In fact it can be done even easier than that. When Screen Capture is running the App1 button on your device becomes the trigger to snap the shots. This is usually the calendar or contacts button depending on your device. Then you can navigate around and just snap away.

Thanks Marc, having not used your software (I used resco to dump my screenshot) I couldn't be specific as to how it worked (notwithstanding) your instructions).

It does look like a nice application, I'm almost tempted to try it out. :D
