HTC's with slide out keyboards

I have a T-mobile mda/htc wizard. Are there any major differences between the wizard and the rest of the HTC's that have the same form factor?

Not a ton. The slider Hermes ( cingular 8525 ) is just the same. The Vox I have touched, but not long enough to give a good feel for it. The HTC Herald, the most current of the HTC Sliders that is not out on any carriers yet (that I know of), has a different slider that is actually spring loaded.

In differences, are you refering to the performance?

Really I am just looking for a reason to buy a new toy, without spending Flame or Athena money.

I beg to differ Chris! The Wizard has a 195MHz processor, the Hermes (now known as the HTC TyTN) has a 400 MHz CPU. The built-in camera is 2 MP rather than 1.3. There is a new "jog-dial" with a confirm function (located on the left side of the phone) which I see as reason enough to upgrade if you have the cash. They also moved to microSD from miniSD.

In short, there are many major changes and I personally think the Hermes/TyTN is a significant advance.

See here for pics.

In the context of slide out keyboards though, there is pretty much no difference between the 8125 and the 8525.

Hardware-wise, yeah there is differences..
