Pretty frequently. There's actually an amazing number of sites out there designed for mobile browsers. I'm usually just checking the weather, but there's a good number of new sites that I read as well. Plus there's also my jumping point to get streaming radio from radio stations all over the country.. Handy to have it if I'm travelling and want to listen to something back home.

I use it mostly when I get to an appointment early. It's nice to check mail and catch up on the news when there's a WiFi signal available. It's surprising how many people (and businesses!) don't lock down their wireless routers.

Sadly to say hardly ever at all. I probably would with a coveraged device & data plan. I am currently have an Axim x51v. I had planned to use it more by tethering it to my cell phone but found the connection speed to be very slow & not worth the effort. The is no point in using a wireless internet connection with 4 computers & one being a laptop at home. The range of the wireless card in the Axim is terribly poor away. I walk 20' away from my router & the connection strength drops to almost nothing & forget about upstairs.
I have 2 internet capable handhelds and I am actively pursuing purchasing my third as soon as the hoopla over the Ameo/Advantage/7500 dies down. I use mine 4700 at home to surf while spending time with wife, supposedly watching TV, I surf from bed on it, and I used to hijack other peoples wifi while I was out and about.
Then I got to be a big boy and got a T-mobile MDA so I dont have to hijack any more. I surf on that during any down moments that I have during the day, and I use it to email my wife on and off during the day, since she is at a computer all day.
We also take trips a lot and both pda's are useful. We have surfed for directions while on the road. Live Search has gotten me around traffic, we have looked for places to eat while moving and having my internet means I dont have to stay in a free wifi hotel or pay for wifi.
Daily. It wakes me up to check the new item at woot.com. And then there's the surfing the web, AIM chat, Google maps, etc. I use wikipedia all the time too, even though they are not mobile-friendly.
Not so much on the iPAQ but its truly a way of life with my BlackBerry. Especially right now where I am looking for work - if I happen to be at a temp job site and someone emails me about another position I can reply almost immediately (which usually keeps me on the top of the list!)
If I am waiting on someone or looking for quick answers it has really been helpful as a lot of the clients that I am at have locked down networks and I don't have to bother them to create a login for me - and worse case I use the BlackBerry to give me that net connect for my laptop (not the best but helpful in a pinch).
