Question America...Safer since 9/11????

Just wanted to get some people's opinions on this. Do you guys think that America is any safer, in terms of acts of foreign terrorism, since 9/11?

Peace!

This is possibly the most shallow and stupid response I have ever posted. It may be envy, due to my rapidly receding hairline, but I must say....that is the most hair I have ever seen.

It is better to be envied than pitied.

PS: If you look a little closer, you can see the beginnings of a recession. Just look really, really hard. I would take suggestions, however, on some things I could do with my hair. Please feel free to fill me in. Perhaps we could even start a new thread...

WOW!

I'm lovin' the hair! Although a little texturizer wouldn't hurt. Keep at it, cuz I could only dream of having hair that full-bodied!

The minute you start messing with it is the moment it starts to leave you LOL.

As to the question.

I think we think we're safer. TO a degree I think we are, the Airlines are pretty safe right now, though that will slacken as complacency replaces vigilence.

Considering the two main individuals we want are still unaccounted for... who knows.

It is about as safe as it was before the attacks.

Exactly! Would you concur that we faced an "Imenent Threat" on 9/10 and were completely unaware of it?

Yes I would say that, as horrible as it may sound USA got to comfortable thinking no one would dare try an attack on home soil, and when it came it was a harsh wake up call that not everybody likes America and it foreign policy to other countries, and the sad thing is with the war on Iraq it is only going to get worse.

It was only a matter of time before 9/11 or something like it happened.

Worse for the U.S. or worse for the terrorists? Did they not already hate us and want us all dead before 9/11? How exactly does that get worse? It's worse all right, but the fight is over there instead of over here!

They're (terrorists) all flocking into Iraq right now. When we hear about losing our troops it seems awfully conspicuous that we don't often hear how many of them died too.

It's truly a terrible shame that the Iraqi populace is now going to be plagued with capitalism and a free market economy. So much freedom that they just don't know what to do with themselves. terrible shame. (tongue firmly planted in cheek)
