Hmm

My guess is you can't mix and match RAM SIMMS, DIMMS etc. (whatever type mem you are using...) of those sizes. Mixing 64 Mb sticks and 256 Mb sticks is a bit odd. Check your MB manual to see what it legal. You might also have them ganged incorrectly i.e. you might have to have the smaller pair in slots 0 and 1 or perhaps they only work in slots 2 and 3. Also, as someone else said reset your BIOS.

try:

-reset bios
-make sure all other hardware is correctly seated, you might have bumped something.
-look up what the 3 beeps means for your motherboard. it should be in the manual
-remove all hardware except for the minimum needed to run(video card, hd). if it boots fine then start adding pieces in one by one.

You might have a lack of power to the system, how big is your power supply? what all do you have in your computer?

TMusic007 was right. You have to have the same speed of RAM in each slot.

Hmm

Get rid of the 64 Mb sticks... put the 2X256 in the first two mem slots, 0 and 1. Having different speeds won't fry them they will just not pass a memory test if you are trying to run them at too high of speed. I just find it really odd that you are trying to gang 256 and 64 Mb sticks together... Especially with the 64's in slots 0 and 1. Are you sure they are both the same memory type i.e. DIMM or SIMM or etc. If you tried to stick a SIMM stick in a DIMM slot you definitely have problems... or vice versa. Do you KNOW what memory types each are? In any case, ditch the 64s.

Ahhh.... good old RAMBUS RAM. Never touch the stuff. I had thought it had died out in place of the DDR stuff. Unfortunately I know nothing about it, except that it was supposed to have better performance than DDR but never really caught on due to it's higher cost.
