I guess first off something of an introduction.
I'm a software developer (primarily web based, but working on more pocket pc/palm os development), and am trying to work ever closer to the medical field as I slowly but surely get ready to go to med school and switch careers.
In this vein, I'm looking for things to do to help bridge the gap - I figured software development for home tracking, etc., would be a good place to start - at least until I can find a position in IT within a medical facility.
Up until now, I've only done one such thing, and that is to create a web-based contraction monitoring tool (just delivered a baby 6 weeks ago - it was a needs based thing ;) ) - you can see it at

My first goal for pocket pc is to convert it from a web-based app to a pocket pc app w/desktop components...I'd ultimately like to see it be one in a number of home tracking components.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks!
