my first was a Heathkit -- home-built, 5 1/4 drive and a mono (green) screen.

the second was an IBM 8088 with (2) 3.5" drives...one later removed to add an 8MB HDD. Man, what power!

Man, I remember when I was, gosh I couldn't have been older than 6 or 7, I had a Texas Instruments computer. I would have to go dig it out to see exactly what it was, but I remember it was one hell of a beast! No monitor, hooked up to a television set, had some crazy voice synthesizer that you could program stuff into the computer to have it talk..... man, those were the days. Inputting code into the thing for a couple days just for the satisfaction of playing a game similar to those snake games on cell phones. Did anyone else have one of these? My 2nd computer was a wonderful Apple IIe (Man, I miss playing Math Blaster!) :D

The first computer I had was a Timex Sinclair - don't remember the model number or any specs but I do remember hours of typing programs into it and saving them to cassettes. Eventually the power pak had to be taped onto the keyboard. The next computer I got is my current one, a DimensionXPS T800r. Sadly I'm not much better with the new one =(

My first was a 486/33 cobbled together out of a buddies junk box in his garage. If memory serves it had 4mb ram and 212mb hdd, a 9600baud modem and a 14" screen. I remember my mother using a T1000(?) that hooked up to the TV for a class she took in college.
