Moving Programs to Built In Storage?

I need to move a large program - like Pocket Informant from the Program Folder to Built In Storage (BIS) to free up some memory. Upon moving PI via Total Commander, now my Calendar button on front of Dell gives error message indicating that program cannot be found. Do I have to remove and reinstall to BIS or is there an easier way?? I have since moved back to Program Files folder and all works well. I have other programs I want to move to BIS, nowever am getting the same messages when tapping the Icon that starts that program. I am sure that a remove and reinstall via active sync will fix, however am looking for an internal way to do in on my Axim.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it but telling it to use built-in storage instead of the default install area?
