Elite Electronics - Good Customer Service

Elite are a UK company who provide accessories for cell phones, now I know this isn't strictly relevant to the site but hear me out.

We all seem to have bad experiences of the industry be it Dell, HP or whoever but this company did something different. I ordered a Krussel case for an E200 smartphone about two weeks ago. A few days later I had a 'phone call to say they were very sorry but the case was out of stock and would I like to wait or have an immediate refund, after reading this message I emailed and said no I was happy to wait. this was followed by another email apologising for the delay and on Tuesday another call from Martin apologising for the delay and offering me a refund or if the case they sent (when the stock finally arrived) was not to my liking I could return it for a refund.

To say I was impressed with their level of customer service is putting it mildly; they are not a company anywhere near the size of Dell (in fact I don't think they are a large company at all) with the resources of Dell but they will go to this much trouble for a customer placing an order for £13.99!

Surely this is an example of how it should be done by those, like Dell, with the resources.

Well I have been screaming this very point from the rooftop for the last 8 years. you would think that a company with the resources of Dell could take simple matters and make them good...wait a minute that is what dell used to do and that is why they are so big now....i wonder where they lost the vision??

It's great that they communicated well with you, and that is commendable, but please remember that under the Distance Selling Act, you have the right to return any item purchased from the internet/tv/mail-order (from a UK company) within 7 days for a full refund (less postage costs) for any reason so in that case they are not doing you any 'favours'.
