It's great that they communicated well with you, and that is commendable, but please remember that under the Distance Selling Act, you have the
right to return any item purchased from the internet/tv/mail-order (from a UK company) within 7 days for a full refund (less postage costs) for any reason so in that case they are not doing you any 'favours'.
