I love having pets. Dogs have always been my favorite. But not the little yippy type that remind you of a rat. Where I am living now does not allow dogs or I would have one. Guess I will have to wait until I buy my new place. I am thinking of adopting a greyhound.
As a kid, I had a parakeet, turtle, rabbit, hampster, snake, mice, and dogs.
I had a large fresh water tank of cichlids for several years, but had to get rid of them when I started moving around for work. Most of them were from lake Malawi. Some of females had some fry that I was able to sell. Attached is a picture of one of my favorite fish I had in that tank. He was around seven inches long in this picture. Though the picture doesn't do justice to his color.
I'm tom, I'm new and I just got my Axim 3xi a week ago. Now that introductions are over...
I have a pet goldfish...well actually, my 3 year old daughter has a pet goldfish...anyways, the funny part is...His(?) name is..chicken...We won him at a local agriculture fair (I'm from NC people, there are FARMS!!) And at this fair, there were chickens...Which my daughter( being like a year and half old at the time) declared quite loudly, DINNER! Much to the disagreement of the chicken owners... So, later in the evening, we won this goldfish...And of course we ask the kid what to name the fish. She says 'DINNER!' again...and no, btw she wasn't hungry...She just appreciates the human level of the foodchain!...So the name chicken was inherited by the fish...
I know, it's kinda lame, but hey, it's a kid!
Hope ya'll enjoy my story!
'I'm just glad to be part of the team and god willing, we'll win some games!'

I wish I could have a cute little cocker spaniel puppy (like the one I grew up with) but my wife won't let me!! She says the kid keeps us busy enough...

Thanks, Tom!!
Sadie was a rescued dog that I got from the Michigan Humane Society 8 years ago. I know all of us dog lovers say the same thing....but, she's the best dog :)
