I had a Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pig once, but he died after about 10 years. Now i have my 15y/o Dog (lab mix), fish, guinea pigs, toad, turtle, and a Mouse.
Have a Chuawawa ....hummmmm.... Chawawa Chuewawa , uh.... it's a little girl dog and her name is Peanut! She's numero uno in the family and she knows it!
Cats are my favourite. My wife and I got our first pet together last year, a rat called Ichabodkin, Iccy for short. Unfortunately we had to have Iccy put down after she had a fall.

Sorry to hear about Iccy. But, what sort of fall would necessitate putting a rat down?
We had a very large cage for her (we hate seeing animals in small cages) We had had her for just over a year when we found her on the base of her cage, both feet tightly bound in her bedding. The bedding was so tight, it took me nearly 15 minutes to cut off the bedding (the white paper like shredded bedding material for rats) using embroidery scissors. Although her foot was swollen to twice the normal size and blue, I think we had just found her within minutes of her falling. She was bleeding from behind her eye and from her nose. She also staggered around in circles. We tried everything to look after her through the night and managed to get an emergency appointment with the vet next morning. By then she had improved by 50% and the vet said apart from a slight limp she had been very lucky. She had some injections and we took her home. Over the next two weeks she continued to improve and seemed like her old self but then we noticed she acted as if she was blind and she still walked in circles and followed the same route in her cage. She also couldn't find the edges of the upper levels in her cage. We took her back and said we thought she might have suffered a stoke. The vet said what did we want and we both decided that the kindest thing was to have her put to sleep. It was the best thing to do but we couldn't stop crying. Buried her in the garden.

I love my Golden Retriever, Emory, and my two cats, T.C. and Bella.
Not much for reptiles, birds, or little rodents.
Any thoughts???;)
Yeah basically all except for black cats!
I have had dogs mainly and two cats. Though I don't have animals anymore due several reasons. I like to walk in the woods or in a park making pics and listening to birds.
I am currently keeping my eyes on a swan couple. In this album you can see the male coming at me. He's protecting his wife who's on the nest. Meanwhile he knows me, and knows I don't want to do harm just making some pics.
In that album some other pics too.
Peace,
Henk.

As you can tell by my screen name, I love cats. Mine likes to sit on my lap while I use the computer, or when I read a book. She also loves to hang out in my son's room while he plays his electric guitar--she actually sits at the door and meows when he starts playing until he lets her in!
My husband is a dog lover and calls our cat, Sabrina, his "dog". He swears that she is part dog...she even likes to have her belly scratched like a dog! She is very sweet and docile.
We adopted her from the local APL and she was very sick with a respiratory virus when we first brought her home. We made numerous trips back to the APL for treatment to get her through her illness those first few weeks. I'm happy to say that she has been with us for seven years now.
