Wow. (After reading other thread.)

That totally stinks. The classifieds can be a great place for free and informal deals between fellow users, rather than the vast ebay-community.

I've sold a couple of cases to other aximsite users and I took pride in really good communication and fast service, and they both paid immediatly via PayPal. To think that someone would ruin things for the rest of us legitimate people is really depressing.

I was one who bought from xdalaw and I will say he is a super great guy to work with. I bought a case and he had it shipped immediately. Arrived to me in just a couple of days.

Shipping quick is great, but what really impressed me with xdalaw is how many emails I got from him letting me know the status of package shipment. Also he answered a bunch of questions that I had. Great Guy.

haha - positive feedback is hard to come by - especially on forums. I told xdalaw that I would post something positive back when I first got the case but he said he wasn't too worried about it.

I am posting now due to the recent events and the fact that he has other cases for sale.

Anyways, I almost "bought" the card myself, thanks AEEG for getting the word out so quickly. Sorry you had to find out the hard way to benefit the rest of us.

Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it. I didn't think it would have been necessary, until this crook ruins it for the rest of us.

Do we need two separate threads in teh water fountain about this? There is already one on this, so unless this is a console people about their losses thread... Maybe we should kill or combine it?

That is actually quite stupid of the guy to do this. The guys ip was logged, and he can easily be tracked down. If I was in this situation, he would have a nice person tape a nice message to his forehead when he opens the door.:)


Message would read: Enjoy jail, your screwed.:)

Hope you get your money back Astounded, especially since you were so considerate as to refund mine when we both thought the SD card I bought got lost in the mail. (aside - i eventually received it - sorry USPS kinda sucks when it transfers to Canada Post - and it was paid for) Scams kill the ability for people to conduct real transactions.

Hi, not sure what this is worth. But I read this thread and the one referenced at the top. Why not simply add something to the titles of membership. I liked the one idea of not being able to sell untill a member. But one step further is to institute a rule that if you buy and/or sell you need to post a review as a percentage or number out 10 for your experience. Ten being great, one being crap. That way it would be easy to track averages for ratings and that could be added to your member status eg.

Just a thought, it's simpler than ebays system. And at least it gives some idea as to who your dealing with.
