A good mp3 player?

I am looking to buy an mp3 player for a gift for someone. It would be used while jogging and at a stand still. Anyone have any experience with a good one that would not have issues with use while running. Not sure if I should stick with something that has solid state flash or if an ipod device would be alright.

Price limit I am looking at is around $150. I would like to get something that has some type of upgrade slot if it doesn't already come with a fair amount of storage space. Rechargable battery would be a plus, but not required.

Well anyone out there have anything that would fit this description?

An ipod/dell dj/iriver/ all those types would probably be more than your 150 limit, and wouldn't be the ideal device to go jogging with. How much space you wanting?

i think 128mb with the ability to add a card or 256 with no ability to add, should be sufficient.

A 256MB Creative NOMAD MuVo TX might go nicely. They're about $180 US though. There's a 128MB version for about $130, but no upgrade so the 256MB would be your best bet. Keep looking though.

The Nomad Muvo TX in 256M flavor should be really close to your price range. USB 2.0 too - which you really want when transferring music. It also doubles as a thumb/pen drive.

Actually,
I have a neat little MP3 player, it runs completely off of compact flash! I might think of parting with it if you want
