Contact Sync Issue with X5

Hello

Just got a Tablet PC with Outlook 03 and my contacts will not sync. My calendar syncs fine but I now have my contacts in a subfolder so big brother can't see them on the exchange server. How do I get active Sync to point to my subfolder to grab the contacts to sync them onto my AximX5? There is nothing in outlook nor windows CE to explain how to do it.

Thanks.

i believe that option is only available in the inbox, not for other Outlook folders.

Is this on a work mail server, and if so are they running Exchange?

Thanks. My inbox resides on an exchange server and due to security reasons I moved my contacts into a personal fiolder. Could care less who sees my calendar however contacts with passwords etc is another issue. I checked MS last night and they state that you can't sync off line folders. They should change that. Thanks for responding.

the reason i ask, is that you can set your options in Outlook for all the folders concerning who you want to see them. in Outlook 2000 ( I'm sure later versions are similar) right click on a folder and choose "Properties". select the "Permissions" tab and delete any existing permissions, except for Default, which should be set to none.
