I finally figured out one of the problems with politics is. Some of the right wingers and (please dont call this biased, i call things as i see them) a lot of the left wingers discount everything that the other party and their media says as unreliable and untrustworthy, and cannot be true, if it contradicts what they think, and anything that their party says is law and has to be true. I think this is just one of the many things that fsckes up politics. Cant people realize that both parties CAN make good points and often do, and at the same time do make mistakes as well?

I think the problem is with politicians and todays soundbite-hungry media - they rarely say what they mean, just a series of soundbites strung together for good effect. it leads to not being able to trust what they're saying, on either side...

both sides make good points, but more commonly in my eyes, both sides make very bad points.
