2 weeks no refund!

Ok Dell, i had sent in my X3i for a new X30h. I was told i would be refunded for my X3i, however, when i got billed yesterday, i can see that my refund did not take effect!!! It has been 2 weeks, how long does a rebate take?

If i charged as much interest as Dell does for them to give me back my money, i could turn a nice little profit!

You need to contact Dell customer service to give them you tracking number for the returned device. Assuming you send it with some sort of tracking. Once they can determine that the unit was received by them, then they can look into why you haven't been credited yet, and the problem should be rectified quickly. If they have no record of ever receiving it and you have no way of tracking it, then you just lost $300.

It's just the way companies do business.

Cash, credit, debit, first son.........no matter how you purchase something, they get your money immediately, if not sooner.

Refund, return, defective, don't want it, wrong size/color/flavor/.....it don't matter, they just wanna use your money for as long as they possibly can. 6 to 8 weeks on thousands (hundreds-of-thousands?) refunds/rebates = googolplex-centavos....in their pockets.
