Our company ordered 5 of the new X30 high end pda's around the 5th of June and we were surprised to see that the estimated delivery date is for July 7th! One whole month, man, what in the world would take them that long to get us our new pda's? Any thoughts?

That's just crazy! I ordered mine on the 16th on June and it's coming on the 28th. Where is your company located?

I ordered mine on 6-10 and it has an expected delivery date of July 7-9. They say it's still in production. Maybe Ma Dell is taking a nap.

I ordered mine on the 8th of June, it was supposed to arrive on the 21st (Today), Its been stuck 'In Production' since it was ordered. I e-mailed them today, They said it was going to take 22 business days from the 8th, but of course nobody bothered too e-mail me and let me know. So almost 4 weeks, before they can even ship the stupid thing too me. I'm going to call the sales department and complain about this, this is nuts.

Our company is located in Nevada. I guess we will have to wait until they get here, nothing we can really do about it at this point. Thanks for the replies.

yeah man... I'm in the same boat... ordered my Axim X30 High on 06/13 and been told it will arrive around the 9th of July... I'm so acntious to get my hands on it man... Hey anyone here from Dell can shed some light on the issue???

I can relate to ALL of you! This is supposed to be my graduation present, and it's not going to be here until the end of summer vacation!!! I understand the whole product shortage thing mentioned by other users of Axim Site, but come on Dell! They are a MAJOR manufacturing company...It shouldn't take over a week to build a PDA. 4 weeks is a long time to wait.

I ordered 6 of the 624mhz X30's on June 21. I have an estimated ship date of July 22. :( It is in production now.

Hi All. - I live in the UK and would have hoped to have received my X30 High sooner than some of you in the "States" - No such luck though!!!

Initial order (online) on 31/5/2004 - Dell took payment on 7/6/2004. Dell took another payment for the same amount on 14/6/2004 (Finally refunded on 21/6/2004) after many emails and phone calls to pathetic call centre in India (I hope someone from Dell takes note!). Latest "guesstimate" from Dell is delivery on 28/6/2004 - I will believe it when I see it!

I appreciate that you may be busy at Dell but please do yourselves a favour and do whatever is necessary to improve this situation. - You have the product - Take the oppurtunity.!

I ordered mine on June16th and the delivery is set to July17th.
That is crazy, in this day of internet commerce to wait a month for a technology product. The technology will change by leaps and bounds in a month. HP, Toshiba, LOOX are all coming out with new modles right whn I'm suppose to get my AXIM. If other modles come out soon, and can deliver, I'm likely to cancel my order.

Oh, for crying out loud; have any of you _ever_ seen a new, hyped product that hasn't experienced shortage? It was the same with the SE T610...

I ordered mine June 8th, and it got delayed so I'll receive it next week or so... Of course I'm not happy about waiting, but I can understand them not having anticipated how many x30s they were going to sell...

Can anybody point me to a psychic computer manufacturer?

EDIT: Oh, by the way; at least I've received my cradle already, so I can admire its shinyness and USB connectivity :P
