Mostly, its just cookies that get automatically downloaded, and just as grentz said, S&D blocks those (mostly, so its still a good idea to scan for them every once in a while)

Not neccessarily, a lot of these things are required dl's if you want to get on the web page etc.

Im stupid and use windows and IE :p I am going to get firefox asap though (probably within the next 5 minutes considering i just remembered that i wanted to...)

I use:

1. Spy Sweeper
2. Spybot 1.3
3. AdAware 6

Still like SpySweeper the best, but I think Spybot leaped it with 1.3!! :)
