Are there any big differences between the axim X3 and x5? I am debating if i should sell my x5 for a smaller amount and buy the upgraded x3.

I am also trying to decide between the Dell MP3 player or buying a 400 mb or higher memory card to use as a mp3 player on my axim.

Did you think about the new X30?

There are plenty of differences the such as
New OS (Windows Mobile 2003) on the X3
Built in Wireless on the X3
Only SD on the x3, the X5 has SD and CF

Unless you reallly need CF you should buy a X30 or X3i imo

Well a 512 mb SD card costs alot less then a Dell DJ. If you don't need a dedicated mp3 player just use the axim it works great as a mp3 player. If you got the cash buy both of them, but I'd just stick with a large SD card for your Axim.

i think that the x30 is what he meant by "upgraded x3" but thats just me. And yes, go for it if you dont need the CF slot (the big one on top of your X5 :p)
