Ok, go to Freeipods.com
sign up and blah blah, it says you have to complete one offer, and of those choices are things like signing up for the free trial of AOL, and free trials of other stuff. And once you sign up for that, you have to refer 5 friends and they have to sign up for something. Well, that got my thinking, couldn't I sign up for the free AOL, and cancel it soon after, make 5 free like hotmail email's email the referall to those emails, do the same with the free AOL trial and then cancel, and according to that, I should win a free ipod. Do you think that this might work? Has anyone tried this. Now dont flame me and say this is spam or something, I just want a free ipod mini and I was wondering if this could work. Also, if anyone has any other "suggestions" on how to get a free ipod lol, please let me know. I have -45 bucks and I need that green ipod!

absolutely not, after u sign up and all the hassle they forget about you. not that they forgot but they pretend to forget, i suggest you read the terms of service and all that shi7 carefully.

Alright, this is what I thought, just wanted some other opinions. Too bad it isnt true though, but then again, what in this world is free anymore. Especially and ipod lol.

that would be sweet if it actually worked but they would lose so much money that way. everyone would be pulling that scam, and im sure its been tried before.

after searching google for this particular thing, heres what this guy has to say:

if you read the terms and conditions for all those free ipod links, you'll see that the company does NOT guarantee that it will send you an ipod for all your efforts (signing up for crappy promotions and getting other people to do the same!)
total waste of time!

Well, one I wouldn't do that, im smarter than complaining about something I made the choice to do. But it seems to have worked for many people over there at flyertalk. Plus, if you dont get anything, its a win-win situation. Because as it says in that thread you cancel right after you subscribe, so theres no cost whatsoever.
