Progress report.

Recap: waited 42 days on initial order, bundled accessories the apparent problem. Canceled order.

Convinced to reorder by seriously concerned reps.

Reordered just the Axim 400 with cradle, delivery estimated as 3/10, but in recognition of past problems (and complaints) they are throwing in the 3-year warranty as a freebie!

Seems they are trying to do the right thing; hoping they can succeed this time!

I finally received my Axim, March 12. It was the second order, stripped of all accessories. I've enjoyed playing with it these last few days.

My original order had included:
case (I've since purchased the Sena and I'm happy with it)
SD card (since purchased at Best Buy for less than Dell's price)
CF card (since purchased at Best Buy for less..)
screen protectors (purchased after market)
extra battery (haven't done anything yet)
keyboard (haven't done anything yet)

The time afforded me by Dell's delay has made me a better shopper! So, maybe I should thank them for the 56 days to think over my purchases; that's how long it took me to get it!!

Again, so far I'm enjoying it!
