I dont think that touchpad is too good of an idea. Imagine Gaming on something without arrows. I have used them on a laptop and i dont like them much, on a pocket pc, i think it is nothing more than a marketing angle.

usb hosting has a LOT of potential with just the minimal storage drivers.
plug in cameras, harddrives, etc.
need a camera for your PDA? A USB camera is FAR superior to the embedded camera in any PDA.
Need some storage or want to share some files, usb harddrive and you are all set.
Now think of USB keyboards, mice, printers...
drool droool...
but the simple basic storage drivers alone provide a lot of capability.
now after all that drooling of course I still have not found a "clear" statement that it support USB hosting...
its my next PDA anyway, but usb hosting would be a lot of icing on the cake. I wonder, could there be such a thing as too much icing ;-)

Look at it this way, if the HX4700 really DOES have usb hosting, you can plug a game controller in it hehe...
