need some opinions as i'm building a system for a coworker. He'll be doing some casual gaming but computer will mostly be used for other (more productive ;)) purposes. He's lookin to spend not much over $100 cdn. How's the ATi 9000 pro? it's $149 but looks pretty good in benchmarks (beats out the gf4 mx440 in a bunch of tests).

any opinions?

I use an ATI All in Wonder 8500, and the on-screen TV is an excellent feature. It has all kinds of video IN connections, plus the cable input, a wireless RF remote, vid cap and still cap, etc.
Plenty of Hp for a casual gamer, plus makes the PC much more usable.

The best budget high-end card would be the nVidia GeForce 4 Ti 4200, but they're releasing the GeForce FX line soon and that should drop the price even further.
