Sounds like Opera except Opera is free. (Well, if you don't pay for it, you get a stupid ad at the top of the window.

a $20 add-on for Internet Explorer. I can't believe they think people will pay for this. There are a ton of free popup blocker utilities....

Have you had luck with those utilities?

I like to look for clip art every so often, or desktop pictures. Those sites bring up pop-up's like they are porn sites. I tried a bunch of pop-up blockers before Opera, but none of them stopped all the pop-ups, and sometimes you want pop-ups to work.

Opera 7 has 4 options for pop-ups:
Accept pop-up windows
Refuse pop-up windows
Open pop-up windows in background
Open requested pop-up windows only

I have mine set to the last option. That way I can look at pop-ups that I request (clicking on a thumbnail picture that brings up a javascript window (pop-up) with the full sized picture in it) and it fully blocks all other pop-ups.

There are alot of other nice features in Opera. I almost switched to using it for my e-mail, but since I actually paid for PocoMail, and Opera doesn't have a way to *NOT* display graphics in the preview of the message (A way for spammers to verify an e-mail address as valid), I'll stick with PocoMail for now. :)
