Question SDIO 802.11 is too expensive

does anyone know when a SDIO wireless card is gonna come out that isnt obscenely priced? I'm about go go to UCSD next fall and i know the card would be handy, but the $120 price tag just seems rediculous

why not sell your x3 and get an x30? youll have wifi, bt and a faster processor, and it will have cost you about the same thing in the end.

that's why I fired my HP 1945 and get x30
double wireless for less
and SD wifi is poor, even eats up ALL CPU all the time

The small price difference between x3 and x3i should have screamed Get x3i even if you didn't need wifi yet. The only way the price drops if more people buy the SD wifi card, but since more wifi is integrated, it's going to be a long, long time before the price drops significantly. If nobody buys them, then they will be cheap in the closeout section.
