Let me remind those of you that were not around last summer when 544 tore down the server. We were not ready for such a load and it caused the servers to be down for 6 hours.

We have a better hardware setup now, but I am still working on getting some settings right and get the boxes happy again. If this attempt happens before this is all done, it will be counter productive.

in short, just say no! Not yet at least....

We could wait untill Dell releases the VGA Axim. That should show a good surge of members and hopefully by then Chris's Servers well be tip-top. Just to be safe we should all go online on purpose at an certain time on the day of the release (same time as now).
