Sharp making 3D

Howdy y'all! I know this has been out a little while, and you probably know this (especially if you read the PC mags.) Sharp has introduced a line of products with 3D! Cool! Look here at their press release! Now... That a big price for a big screen! But imagine SHRINKING it! I mean, a handheld with 3D?!? That'd be AWESOME! Should we petition or something? ;-)

Sounds a little useless to me. If it were cheap then why not, but sharps 3d notebook is awfully expensive probably due to the 3d technology. It would probably just end up giving me headaches lol :p

Underneath the monitor shouldn’t it say
'Simulated screen image' .. rather then 'Stimulated' ?? hehe

Ahh, 3D could be COOL! I mean, that way, when you get an email it POPS out at you! If they'd just make it cheap enough. Hey, anyone heard of Eink? Look at www.eink.com If that'd just get a bit more popular, we'd have cheaper handhelds!

I don't want to be a kill joy, but isn't that technolgy so far only black and white and I can imagine from how it works that it suffers from slow response times? The only redeeming factor I can see is the battery life. There is a Sony E-Book reader I beileive you can buy in Japan - but It has a very weird DRM for downloading books from Sony.
