I will definitely be putting a few episodes of "Da Ali G show". I try to explain how funny this guy is to people and they just don't seem to understand.

I've seen him on Showcase aka Canadian HBO...... he's kinda funny I suppose, you really have to subscribe to his humour to get it, But I've only seen one show so I have yet to make a good decision.

I recently purchased one of the cheaper brands out there (ATI with the RF remote control) . . . It works great, but the application software is a little quirky.

(They now offer an HDTV version)

It does work flawlessly with Windows Media Encoder, though for streaming TV over WiFi (Why would you watch TV on a tiny PPC screen? I dunno, especially when the flat screen plasma is right in front of you. Novelty).

I believe alot of people swear by the Hauppage (sp?) model too.

HDTV has been on desktop PCs for a long time. I have a Dell Optiplex GX110 with HDTV, as well as a Dell Dimension 4550 with HDTV. (A friend gave me the Optiplex (thanks Caitlin Williams!))

Hmmm... It's USB. Digital TV on a laptop!

WiFi? No off-the-shelf WiFi HDTV adapters as of yet (or at least I haven't heard of any). But I have installed software on my Optiplex GX110 that turns it into a HDTV router.
What we all need is a wireless router that has HDTV built in. IIRC, HDTV is 20Mbps and there are plenty of 108Mbps wireless devices out there, with even faster ones in the works.
