Maybe someone have more info on WinCe 5.0, screenshots, sys. requirements and etc.
Does the Axim x30 will be capable to run these Win?

After reading up a little about it myself, I found that "Windows CE" is more the underlying structure of the "Windows Mobile" OS. For win ce 5.0 to run on ANY pda, microsoft first has to release WM2005 (which will be built on win ce 5.0).

Heard WM2005 is finally out in Beta now. A friend of mine is tryng to get his hands on a copy from a MS MVP developer friend.

Anyone have any idea how I could load it on my Axim30 if I manage to get a copy? Since the OS is in ROM, could I load it to SD card and run it from there?

You'd need a bootloader or something along there. I don't know a whole lot about it but you'd need something called a "bootloader" akaik.

I downloaded it, but It would need a ROM -- I don't know if it comes with one or not -- I'am on the server now So i'm not installing it i'll try it on my workstation later.
