You have to donate via PayPal, and they remove the storage/bandwidth restrictions. I only donated $2 and they lifted the restrictions. It is completely free, but non-restricted with a minimal PayPal donation! :)
Now the website says that you have to donate at least $5 to have the limitations lifted. But it still sounds like a great deal.
I have used Ofoto.com for uploading photo albums to share with family members. (You cannot use it for image hosting.) You have unlimited space but you have to order something from them at least once a year. But it can even be a 20-cent printout and you are OK.
I don't know about you but my contract explicitly says that operating any kind of server is prohibited. I believe that most other cable companies have similar restrictions.
You know what, I'll worry about that if they say anything. I believe this is more for businesses. I'm not eating up a bunch of bandwidth by sharing out a few documents and PPC installs.
I have heard that some companies block the ports 21 and 80. As for the image hosting, lol.... I use www.schrags.com . Can make your own albums and such, and is free.Example
Thats weird. I dont have any storage limits on photobucket. Where did u see that at? BTW you dont have to donate money to them. Can someone tell me how to add your site to apache? I'm still trying to find that out.

So now you are openly condoning the violation of cable company service contracts? This is against Aximsite forum rules. I'll let the admins handle this.

I don't think it would be. Its not "illegal". Unless he is saying like HEY! DL warez of my server ftp://64.0.545034465400 or whateveer.
Does anyone know how to add a webpage to apache? I have an html file I want to add and I also wanna add phpbb. Anyone know if theres a special folder that it goes in?

That's true, technically, breaching a contract is not illegal. But then you can argue that breaching a license agreement is not illegal either and then we are on a slippery slope.

Never really used apache, just iis cuz i didn't feel like configuring apache. But just stick it in the folder that you set as the root www folder with apache.

Find the root directory of the server first and then put the file to the appropriate path starting from there.
Dude, you are really whacked. Don't start your BS here as well, what point are you trying to make? Why can't you let things rest? You go ahead and proove that I'm doing something wrong. Grow up AS, you can't just accept this can you? You now have to try to find flaws because you were warned for engaging in behavior against the 2 site rules. Get a life . . .
Just like the hate messages you sent me...
I'm sorry to say this but if you are breaching your service contract then you are actually doing something wrong.
BTW I was not warned for anything, unless you mean your warning, which I really don't care about. You are just another user here.
