Why doesnt the new version of Fire Fox display pictures?

Hi,
I have had the new version of Fire Fox for awhile now and absolutely hate it. In fact I think the old version was a lot better. The new version wont allow me to switch themes and it wont allow me to view photos. Can someone please help me fix this? It will not display any photo not even the google logo.

Also, Tools > Themes allows you to switch themes. There is a little link in the bottom-right of the Themes window to click to download new themes.

I looked and load images is checked. I wonder why it still isnt working. Also the option to update the themes isnt clickable for some reason.

What about cutting out your profile folder to somewhere else, then opening Firefox again and setting up from scratch? You can later paste back in any elements you want such as the bookmarks.html file, and see if pasting one element in again messes things up. Uninstalling or re-installing doesn't affect this folder, at least not in my PC. Go to C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and cut that folder out and paste it somewhere else as a backup. Opening Firefox after this should render everything as default, and should repair your image proble.
