ok the title made seem asif i found a pad but NO
wondering if u knew any???

The quick answer is no, but I think it's great if we can show enough demand perhaps someone will create one for us.

We need someone to come up with an addon. I'm showing 3 ideas below. The first two use the sync port and involve electronics and drivers, where the last one is a sort of d-pad extension.


I sold my Axim X5 and got a Sony Clie because of the GC10 game controller. It worked perfectly...but it was on Palm and the entertainment power was a lot lower. I sold it and got the Axim X30h.


On my first Palm III I used one of these babies. It wasn't perfect, a little chunky, but it did the job.


I've never used one, but I think this one looks perfect. It's for the Handspring, but that's all we need. Something small and easy to transport and hookup.

So someday, if there is enough demand, we can have a gamepad attachment.

BenQ used to make one for the older Ipaqs. I haven't seen them in awhile, so they might not be on the market anymore. BenQ seems to be focusing more on projectors and other display devices lately. They need some convincing to make an Axim gamepad. :)

theres been someone developing a psx-to-ppc adapter
but most pda use different ports so it prolly wont be so good

You know, All you need is something to fit over the buttons of the axim. I could try to make one out of old junk.... (It will probably look like crap )

Thats what that handspring one is, it just pushes the up down buttons and the four app buttons

The problem with that is that there are only two buttons on one side, and the dpad is in the middle. Most game systems have the dpad on the left and 4 buttons on the right.

That's exactly what im trying to do. I've made a couple for cybiko.....(Looked like crap of course but, does it's job :approve: )

on the x5, you really could just glue a little stick to the middle of the dpad to have a nice little joystick :)
