The message I got from Resco is at the bottom. The finger pointing has begun and of course no reply from Handango. I have a complaint form coming from our states consumer protection agency as I am getting real tired of the way lots of companies use the internet for sales and then flippantly do not have to honor what they put out there.
I had the same problem with Tigerdirect at Halloween as they had offers that were good (according to their advertisement that came through the email) until midnight of Halloween. I got the email at work so decided to wait until I got home and place the order and guess what, I opened the email at home and they changed the links to their graphics and now the items said “SOLD OUT” across the face. I called them and they said that they ran out and I offered back that the sale was until midnight and I wanted a raincheck. They pretty much told me “to bad” and that was it. If that were a local store they would have had to offer rain checks but since these business are on the net they feel that they can’t be touched for anything but MAJOR offenses. Most people I know bitch and bitch but never do anything about it.
