Creating the 'tech demo' CF on a Sharp Zaurus?

Odd question, I'm getting a Sharp Zaurus Sl-5500 and I was wondering, can you use it to create (i.e. partition, format, and transfer the needed files) the CF for the tech demo of Linux for the X5? I could never get my USB CF reader to partition the card (256MB PNY) under Linux properly, and I still want to try out Linux on my X5.

Having a Linux based handheld make another handheld use Linux is a pretty nifty concept. :approve:
