Spell check makes me lazy. I'd recommend just paying attention to your typing and looking up words you're not sure of.

That's GRAMMAR!:)
Seriously though, most people don't really care if you misspell a word here and there or use the objective case when it should be the subjective case. It only bothers us when the post is completely incoherent, which happens somewhat frequently. Just read over your posts to make sure they make sense before you post them.

I will keep this in mind as I am guilty of this one. I have to admit that I have been checking many words in the dictionary before posting here. The main PC I use to post here do not have any writing software installed. Good old dictionary. BTW Congratulation wmcjhi on your 2,000th post.

Why would we need one? All you need to do is re-read what you typed.

i dont care about misspellings or bad grammar just as long as you can read the post and understand what it says.

He's right you know... spellcheck can make a person look REALLY ignorant - you end up with the wrong word instead of a misspelled word! The only way to learn to spell is to pay attention when you read - REAL reading like library and school text books. Be suspicious of all spelling you see in these or other forums - from what I've seen here, proper spelling is most definitely optional(and that's OK - as long as it applies to everybody).
So go to the library and get yourself a good book if you really want to learn spelling. Have you read "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" or "Treasure Island" yet? BTW, I commend you for wanting to improve :approve:!

@aximbigfan-Why haven't you? It never hurts to ask and I know it can be done. They have one over at www.pocketnow.com that you can use when you preview your posts.

A great source for real lierature is www.esspc-ebooks.com. The books are in MS reader format and Ken has a good eye for enjoyable reads from the past. I like the stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle myself. But definitely read "The Hacker Crackdown" by Bruce Sterling most people don't realize how closelt the US Government monitors the web. It put to rest the question of it can't happen here.
