We couldn't catch the passes, we didn't hold the line.
Our kicks were goin' wide and the referee was blind ..
Luv Ya Blues ... bad, bad news.
Oh Lord! How we hate to lose. Luv Ya Blues.

The "Tyler Rose" was wilted. Pastorini couldn't pass.
We went to kick the door in, but the Steelers kicked our ass.
Luv Ya Blues ... bad, bad news.
Take a walk in my sad "White Shoes". Luv Ya Blues.

So they fired old Bum Phillips. Said his offense had a flaw.
We'll miss his hat, we'll miss his boots. Lord! There ought to be a law.
Luv Ya Blues ... bad, bad, bad, bad news.
How long must we pay these dues? Luv Ya Blues.

Now we'd give all the cows in Texas, just to reach that Super Bowl.
Take our first round draft picks, Lord! I'd even sell my soul.
Luv Ya Blues ... bad, bad news.
Make us an offer that we can't refuse. Luv Ya Blues.

And now the "Pardees" over. There's a bad "Moon" on the rise.
If I go to see the Oilers, I'll be wearin' a disguise.
Luv Ya Blues ... We hate to lose.
What do ya think of the "Run And Shoot"? Give it the boot!

Now Dallas does a "Double". We've been taken for a ride.
And the highlight of our season: Buddy Ryan hits Gilbride.
Luv Ya Blues ... Bad, bad news.
We wanna win, but we always lose. Luv Ya Blues.

And now we'd like to wish them well, as they head for their new home.
Tell the last one to leave, to "Turn out the lights in the Astrodome"!
Luv Ya Blues. Again we lose.
How long must we pay these dues? Luv Ya Blues.

I'll take Brady & Co. over McNabb & Co. in Jacksonville.

After this weekends games, I think the Patriots are head and shoulders above everyone else in the NFL.

Pats by 17

Well, Pittsburgh had up Pats fans sweating in the third quarter. I felt some serious momentum and a very quesy feeling. Fortunately, it worked out ok.

Hopefully, the Pats can run on Philly and just grind them down. (Along with a few big plays by Brady. :approve: )

One thing for sure, it's going to be a very LONG two weeks.

Cool

Sorry Beantown fans. But it's phily all the way.

A)They play best when not taken as serious contenders(ie the last NFC championship game).

B) Jim Johnson has proven his defensive genius and creativity, and with two weeks of watching film and schemeing, he can come up with something to stop the Pats.

C) A d-line that has proven it can pressure any QB, a linebacker core that has now shown it can stop the run, and 3 out of four DBs are all-pro.

D)The offense has shown it doesn't need TO to play well, and Donovan has come into his own.

E) Oh, and early reports seem to lean that TO will be returning, pray that he doesn't if your from New England.

I don't think wild horses will keep TO out of the Superbowl. I expect him to play even if he's at 50%.

Philly is going in a slight underdogs so I will go with Philly. I think it's going to be Philly's defense that will make the difference. Expect Jeremiah Trotter to have a huge game.

I don't understand what you mean there. Who doesn't take them serious? All year long everyone everywhere has said they are the best team in the NFC. Sure you had a few people on TV who picked the Falcons but you'll always have that. The pre game & other football shows are about getting ratings.

As a matter of fact the Eagles have been favorites to make the Superbowl for the last 3 years. Now they have finally made it over the hump. Donovan looks like a man on a mission.
