You know your right in alot of ways, id like to see the US go back towards isolationisim and quit bailing out the rest of the world when the chips are down, hell if they want a greedy murdering dictator as their leader let em have him. While we are at it, id like to see the US pull out of the UN completely as well. I would love to see the US completely pull out of foreign affairs, stick with the few friends we have and leave the rest to fend for themselves, of course I mean militarily as well as humanitarian. Im freakin sick of the notion that the US is supposed to be one big handout for the rest of the world.

The task was

1. get Saddam out
2. stabilize
3. form a gov
4. get out!

As long as the USA is in IRAQ the problems will stay.
