What I mean is that I'd rather have a blower/supercharger than an electronic device that doesn't REALLY add any power...or at least that's how I understand it...

Supercharger (No thanks to electronic gimmicks...)
Dunno about the amp thing, I'm not a car stereo guy
Plasma anyday
Firefox is what I'm typing on right now!
I don't need either one, as my car is fast enough.
I'd stick with solid state amps, as tubes are out of place in today's high tech world. (not to mention all the heat and power usage)
I use direct-view LCD, but a plasma will be just as good. (well, except for the wearout problem, but they seem to last longer than many LCD projections)
I am used to IE, but I will give FireFox a try.

As for AMD vs. Intel, AMD currently has a technical edge as 64 bits means twice the precision. I currently own only Intel, but I really want a Britney. Or at least an Athlon64...

Well I wont get into a deep tech. definition of a turbo, but it differs from a blower/supercharger in that it uses the exhsust gases to spin a turbine that spins an inducer that then, just like a blower forces more air into the engine. The supercharger uses a belt to spin screws (twinscrew) or spin a belt driven turbo (centerfrugal (spelling is way off)), that then forces more air into the engine.
You maybe thinking of those ebay scams that talk of 12v 'electric turbos' that you would be correct in saying that they do nothing.
The basic turbo/supercharger debate stems from whether you would rather have low-end torque or high rpm hp.

Yea, casey, those electric turbos are to what I was referring...so I correctly assumed the supercharger was preferable! w00t, I'm on a roll!

I like firefox too, that i will admit.

IE has become somewhat lame without the ablility to use extensions (plugins) hopefully they will fix that.
