Anyone successfully use Bluetooth with Missing Synce Successfully?

I've followed the steps on the missing sync sites and can't get the x50v and the G5 to sync. Pairing is setup, x50v tries to connect (sends 12 bytes) but fails (doesn't receive any bytes). Connection is established but I never get beyond "Connectng to Host" in "Connect To" window.

In Bluetooth Manager, I have an outgoing connection (bluetooth-pda-sync) but no incoming connection. Is this right?

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Same problem here with PowerBook G4. The bluetooth sync can't connect, but I can use bluetooth to connect to PB for file browsing just fine. I would like to also sync my Axim via WIFI. Anyone can provide step-by-step instructions?

First, sync your Axim using USB cradle at least once and ensure it's setup in iSync.

Then pair your bluetooth devices together.

If it pairs, goto your bluetooth manager, NEW>Active Sync with Bluetooth. Let it discover your Mac BT, and it should put a new connection called "active sync with <macname>"

On your Mac, Ensure that in your missing sync prefs "bluetooth sync" is checked!

Click on ActiveSync with Mac and it should initiate MissingSync and mount (or at least display your device name). Once thats open, then you can iSync away.

I connect on my dual g5 and my 17" powerbook with no problems using missing sync with no problems. You ran the bluetooth setup assistant right? And then created a pairing right? Id say remove all pairings and start from scratch on both devices make sure all is set to discoverable and then use the assistant it should work.
