Well if a picture is worth 10,000 words (according to some of your other posts), how many insults have you thrown in this one single thread? :rolling:

Being A triple triple threat (a woman, black and gay)on the moral majority's list of things not to be I'd like to post a few of my thought's on this subject:

1)Our government is trying to define marriage as a union between a man and a women and that the purpose of marriage is procreation. By this definition not only would gay people be unable to marry, but anyone who is physically unable to reproduce wouldn't be allowed to marry either. Also anyone already married, basically their marriage would be invalid. Notice that love is not mentioned in this definition

2) For those who believe that homasexuality is a choice, Does that mean you choose to be straight? and that you really secretely lust after your best friend?

3) as far as religion is concerned and I qoute "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them". So I ask you..if god created me, and made me all that i am.then how can who I am be wrong?

4) Finally, I believe that the people who speak out the loudest or strongest against homosexuality do so out of fear. The question is what do they fear?

Of course atheists believe these things are wrong. We recognize that morality does not derive from religion but from the social contract necessary for any society.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Yes, we have indoor plumbing and all the cool things other states have, including computers and servers and websites!

What about it? Male lions and many felines and primates will murder the offspring of a competing male.

There are a lot of things in natural law that humans have risen above.

I'll say it again. The world would be a lot better place if people just kept their noses out of other people's business and just treated them as they would want to be treated themselves.

Sorry, but you're probably a quituple threat: a woman, black, gay, a nerd (you're on Aximsite and that pretty much is qualification enough) and most likely an intellectual ;)

I disagree. I think they do it out of a feeling of superiority, or a need to feel superior without really earning it through actual merit or accomplishment. Some do it out of ignorance, because they don't really know anyone gay, and make assumptions about it.

Some may do it because it's one of the few opportunities they have to be just plain mean. That is not an insignificant human attribute. It's one that has to be drummed systematically out of children, because it's how they'll act the moment they sense weakness in a classmate. When they find they can't be mean to people in their own caste and culture, they often think that it's OK to be mean to someone who is clearly not a part of their caste and culture, or to even regard those people as non-human. The Old Testament is full of examples of that.

The same people seem to make a lot of wrong assumptions about people who aren't like themselves: Jews, athiests, Muslims, people involved in entertainment, anyone who is a minority and is poor, anyone who is a minority and is middle class and rich, and they're especially wrong about what other Christians seem to think.

LOL..I think I resent the Nerd part. I am not a Nerd..I suffer from a terrible disease called Tecnoaddictia...I am to be pittied..there is no known cure....and I suffer greatly, because I do not have enough money to support my habit...I umm mean, not enough money to buy the only things that will give me temporary relief from the pain...I know, I know..it's so sad.

Please fill free to set up a paypal account in my name to help alleviate my suffering. Thank you thank you your all so kind!!!!
