Computer technicians repair computers and computer engineers design computers.

technician believe if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Engineers believe that if it ain't broke, it doesn't have enough features yet.

Rather huge actually...I was a network engineer (designing and building corporate LAN and WAN solutions) then moved on to wireless engineer (designing antennas and tower design for MMDS and WIFI systems). After huge layoffs from my former company there wasnt much out there that wouldnt require relocation, so now im just a network admin for another company making only 2/3rds of my previous salary. I make alot less money but my stress level is half what it was before and I feel like im actually useful rather than just being another cog in the wheel.
