How coolwas my comment in the post office today "I'll be happier when England have beaten wales"

How much of a dick-head do I feel?

I think Ireland will walk it - they seem to be the main team that have a chance of playing a half decent series of games - England and France look as though they are in 'rebuilding' phases and Wales (even after the great RESULT today) didn't close out the game when they had the chance - abd that will come back to bite them in the future. Scotland (although unlucky) didn't seem as though they are much cop either.

I bet you won't be wearing you England shirt out tomorrow then (and good job trhe post office is shut on a Sunday )

Well WilliamHill are giving 10-1 on Ireland by less then 10 so I will offer you 5-1 and lay the bet off with them, then if you are right we will both win GBP50

Margin betting for the game is - HERE

Tell you what, Rob: I have a tenner that says within ten points, if Italy don't get within ten I'll donate $20 to the Tsunami appeal, if they do: I'll restrict it to $5 (all American) how's that?

but if they do I will donate the $20 to the appeal.

Either way the appeal ends up with $20.

Okay?

(Sorry for the delayed reply, my parents are here and we have been to the beach and pub all day - and I have to say I am more than a little sunburnt - even with using Factor 30 sunblock ).

I need to go to bed now (I have been up since 4am and it now 11.15pm) - but we can settle-up after the game :approve:

I owe the appeal $20: Italy were beaten by eleven points, a great game :approve:

Nice one Jogga :approve:

I agree, patriotism apart, probably the 'best' (ie fewest errors made) game of the weekend.

Welsh rugby fan cuts off testicles after win
09/02/2005 03:10

LONDON (Reuters) - A Welsh rugby fan cut off his own testicles to celebrate Wales beating England at rugby, the Daily Mirror has reported.

Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday’s match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, "If Wales win I’ll cut my balls off", the paper said on Tuesday.

Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking.

But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 metres back to the bar with the testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done.

Huish was taken to hospital where he remained in a seriously ill condition, the paper said. Police told the paper he had a history of mental problems.

Wales’s 11-9 victory over England at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff was their first home win over England in 12 years.
