John iii:16 "And God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son"
Is this not the beginning of our modern Christian religion? This is the phrase that in my opinion, is the epitome of how religion is completely dependant on Faith. That with the issue of this statement, it shows the faith God has in us, to gather the faith we should have in Him.

THE KING WILL REPLY, "I TELL YOU THE TRUTH,WHATEVER YOU DID FOR ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE BROTHERS OF MINE, YOU DID FOR ME."
I like this one because... well, I cant really put my finger on it. But I suppose it is because it signifies more than just helping one person when you help someone, it helps everyone.
Am I making any sence?

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is the keeping of commandments of God.
I like this one because it puzzles me, I mean how are you uncircumsized?
Seriously though, I like this one because it shows that you can not perform things that show convenent with God, but still be a good and productive christian without that, and still have God's favour. To be honest with you, I sort of didn't perform a certain right of passage, for a good reason ofcourse(seriously it was good), but I still try to be a good and right christian and that statement assures me that I'll be just fine, so in a way it just helps me keep faith.

My Favorite Bible Verse: 2 Peter 3:18
"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. AMEN" ESV
This is, currently, my favorite Bible verse, or at least the one the Lord has recently really pressed upon me. I think the reason why is because I see a whole lot of people who call themselves "Christians" but they're really just a bunch of "Spiritual Babies."
Jesus was absolutely right when He said that "you must be born-again" and don't get me wrong, there are a not of people who have been. But once your "born-again" you need to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!"
John 3:16 is a good verse, it's the core of the Bible. But too many quote John 3:16 and help people get "saved." You know what, God didn't save us - He redeemed us!
Saved from what? Hell, for sure. But what do most people do about it... Warm Pews?!?
Why did God send Jesus to die in our place? Why did He redeem us? "for those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son." God redeemed us so that we could be like Jesus... how can we be like Jesus if we don't "Grow in the grace and knowledge" of Him?
Get up Christian -- Follow Jesus! Put away that milk! Get busy becoming the man or woman that God intends for you to be!
