There's a player called PictPocketCinema that will play or stream .mov files but it doesn't act as a plugin, it's a costly stand alone program.

Quicktime is a container. A QT mov file can contain an audio and video stream from a large number of different codecs including MPEG2, MPEG4, Sorenson, uncompressed, etc. The chances of finding a QT player that can play all these various codecs is very unlikely. It appears only a select few QT files can be played on the PPC.

Oh, I was referring to Windows Media Player for Windows XP not Pocket PC.

Sorry for the confusion...

Nope, there is no way to play Quicktime MOV's in Windows Media Player on your computer. For that you'll need to download for free Quicktime Player, available at Apple.com

Har Har Schrags, Just you know that Quicktime will outlive you or me, and become the best and only video container.

the mov format is propriatary, stupid apple, thats why i just reencode everything to xvid using winmpg video convert so i can play the file in winamp/bsplayer/power dvd/win dvd/anything other than quicktime, quicktime can't even disable your screen saver to play a movie when WMP/power dvd/winamp ALL do that automatically, quicktime also screws around with my file mappings so it plays wav files, i hate quicktime

the only reason why i have quicktime installed is because i need the quicktime codecs to rip mov files to xvid/divx etc
