I have not read this thread, nor to I really want to. I do have to chime in though. I found this thread via the "poll" about one of our beloved moderators...
The Water Fountain - The water fountain was created to talk about things that are not Axim related. The Super Bowl, the kids, etc.... The idea behind the water fountain is to serve as the water fountain would in a work environment. Everyone gets the term, right... the water fountain is where you talk about what you did last weekend at work.
At work, do you discuss God? At work do you discuss porn? At work do your share stolen software? At work do you talk about racism? Point is, WOULD YOU DISCUSS THE TOPIC AT YOUR OWN WORKPLACE. Now, I know that is a pointy question since some of us work in more "loose" environments, but the majority of us do not work in environments that would support discussion satanism on the job.
I believe in Freedom of Speech and that everyone should have the right to do what they want, but when it offends or becomes negative... I have the RIGHT to censor whatever I feel is in the best interest of this community. I have deleted topics in which I agreed with the posters as well. Just because I delete or censor something does not mean I am against it though. I try to stay out of these topics... In fact, I am fairly sure that NOBODY here knows if I Believe in God, what political party I support, or what color underpants I wear.
Rant Over...... Resume normal programming.

Well, actually yes. With people I find friendly. That's why I wanted to do that here.
Anyway, I totally agree, you (and moderators chosen by you) totally have the right to censor what you -they- want. No problem with that. But I feel I also have the right to discuss this censorship.
