Well it's finally happened, after weeks of off and on snow and grass we've finally got to spring time. Atleast in Southern Ontario. The weather out is absolutly smashing. So much so that I've hijacked my brothers girlfriends laptop to head on out. Sky is all blue and the grass is just starting to bud. Really nice to be able to wear a t-shirt outside after a cold winter like we had. Unfortunatly the display on this laptop is no good out here so I'll have to head around back were it's less sunny, atleast I'll still have the breeze.
How's the weather in Steel Town Frenchy? Is Everyone else enjoying Spring, perhaps there are some gardeners at Aximsite?
I got to enjoy the weather the last couple days. It was mid to high 70's here and not a cloud in the sky. Just a slight breeze that made it feel perfect out.
Gardner? Not unless you count a couple bonzai trees that I keep inside. So I tend to those year round.
I was sitting in my office an hour ago thinking about how beautiful it was outside, so I headed home where I could more comfortably enjoy the weather! I love spring! Glad you guys are getting rid of the snow J-roc! :approve:
In London the temperature fell below zero (celsius) today and it rained all day...
You're lucky, guys... Enough said.

Yeah the weather is nuts around here
When I was living in France (in the Southwest of France, near Bordeaux), I usually was at the beach at this time of year...

It was even a wonderful spring day out here in Cold Lake, the kind where you hate to be inside

Bonzai trees? thats cool. I have been wanting to try that for years. I had a tiny kit given to me a while back(seed, teeny tiny sheers and little book.) But, you had to germinate the seed, let it sprout, then plant it- this took way too long. Maybe I am not cut out to parent a tree, who knows. Did you start from seed?

No. Most of mine came from clippings I got from my brother-in-law. The others came from an adult plant my sister gave me. I have been able to grow a few of them large enough that I took clippings from them and grew some more.
Right now I have one that I am wrapping the roots around a rock using string and potting paper (similar to potato sacks). After it sitting this way for about six months the roots will have set around the rock. I can then unwrap it and the roots will harden around the rock and hold it in place.
The are a lot of work, but look cool if you give them the right care.
