after about an hour filling out my taxes i figured that i was receiving nothing from the feds and only $26.00 from the state.

im probaly gonna buy a sd card with the refund. What are you getting with your refund???

this current tax system is wack. we need to change it to the fair tax. what do you think??

I can't remember, but I got a good bit back since I only worked 4 months last year (it was my last year of college). Of course, I filed as soon as I got my W2 back in January, and it was already gone by February. :p

i didnt even have a job this year. i only had to pay taxes for a investment and my state is sending me 26 dollars. lol i hope this doesnt come back to me down the road to bite me butt.

my parents filed mine for the money they have saved for my education. i didnt even bother filing the cap gains off of 300 dollars in my mutal fund

I owe, my wife had a refund but my tax debt sucks that up pretty fast. I was even a tad liberal with right off's for last year. Oh well, price you pay for earning money- could be worse, could have had no tax to pay at all and been eating at the soup kitchen.

I got back more than I wanted. The way I see it is if I get money back it means I loaned the government my money interest free. I personally would not want to face a $240k tax bill, but if you have that kind of income, in my mind it means that he borrowed $240k for 1 year interest free.

I would rather owe $100-200 than get anything back.
