Keep an eye on your Gmail title bar!

Over the next few days, Google's Gmail will be rolling out a new feature called Web Clips, which displays little headlines above your inbox or message and is fed via RSS feeds.

You can modeify their selection and add your own feeds, like Aximsite. :approve: It will also (this is the controversial part) feed ads between the headlines, sort of like commercials, figuring you'll catch them more often as you wait for your next newsclip.

They are wisely labelling the advertisements!

See here for a layout preview - http://www.evhead.com/hodgepodge/gmail-webclip.gif

Not sure I like it yet, but time will tell

Right, it is scheduled to be a slow rollout, probably only thousands of users at a time while they add server capacity.
It is just amazing the number of new services and product releases we've been seeing from Google lately.

And did you see their financials today? Blew all expectations out of the water, but still 99% of their revenue is from advertising.

Sorry Forky, :new_puppy I should have been more clear on the rollout. You'll be sure to notice it when your's is turned on.
Did you see the layout?

BTW, whats the story behind your nick? or as MrK says, sharp eating utensil
