i don't see the star wars movies for the acting. i see them because they are star wars movies. i know i am in the minority of those who enjoyed 1 & 2. They were there to let us learn to adore young anakin and build compassion for him, only to have our hearts break as he fullfills his own destiny.

Yeah, for Ep1 and Ep2, I originally wasn't THAT psyched about them.... but after seeing Ep3 this weekend, I see why they were made in the manner that they were made. Those 2 movies did a lot to create relationships between the viewers and the audience, allowing Ep3 to really hit home with a lot of fans.

Great movie!

wilmiester, deftech, great comments! When it comes to all the episodes, like them, love them, or...hate them? (<--how? to the last one?), Lucas seemed to know that to finally make the payoff to the only 28 year movie saga ever, this one had to tie everything together as well as it did!

It was good. Very dark, no way I'd let my daughter see it just yet. But he did do a great job of bringing it together. Some of the dialog was very cheesy, but I can overlook that.

i agree with the analogy of ep3 being the clean up hitter, hitting the home run.

I am glad that Lucas had the forsight to realize that he could never write a screenplay that awsome! i am so glad he farmed it out!

Props to Matthew Stover for his excellent writing!!!!!!!!
